Full description

Setup and Launch

Explain to the group: everyone dances together now, repeating the movements of one leader. The leader volunteers and doesn't change until the end of one song. Start the track and position participants so everyone can see the leader.

How It Works

The game lasts one song; the goal is to keep attention on the leader and act in unison as a single group.

  1. Choosing a leader. One participant volunteers to step forward and becomes the movement leader for the entire track.
  2. Music starts. The coach launches the song without pauses.
  3. Leading. The leader dances freely and continuously offers movements until the end of the song.
  4. Following. The remaining participants repeat the leader's movements and maintain the shared rhythm and focus on them.
  5. Ending. When the song finishes, the group stops.

The leader does not change during the process: the group follows continuously throughout the entire track.

Key rules

  • Designate one volunteer as leader for the whole song and announce this in advance.

  • Position participants so everyone can see the leader.

  • We repeat the leader's movements specifically; everyone dances without exception.

  • We stop when the song ends.
