Delayed Echo
A freely speaks text, B repeats the same with a one-word delay: "Today… good… weather…". A very demanding "dual attention": listening and speaking at the same time.
Full description
Setup and Launch
An exercise in "dual attention": listening and speaking simultaneously. Working in pairs A and B.
A speaks text freely; B repeats the same with a one-word delay. Example: "Today… good… weather…"
How It Runs
Maintain the principle of exactly one-word delay throughout the exercise.
-
A begins speaking connected text freely, without adjusting to B.
-
B repeats the same sequence, saying each word one word later than A (e.g., A — "Today good weather", B — "Today… good… weather…").
-
Both participants simultaneously listen and speak — this is the "dual attention".
-
Hold the chosen principle until the end of the passage without stopping the flow of speech.
Key rules
Work in pairs: A speaks, B repeats.
A speaks freely in connected text.
B repeats the same with a delay of exactly one word.
Both hold "dual attention": listening and speaking simultaneously.

Zip-Zap Right Voice
The same principle, but the word is spoken by the right neighbor of the person who was pointed to. The brain "trips up" — and that's the whole point of the drill: hold t…
First, Second, Pa-da-da
A speech beat: A — a word, B — a response-word, group — a short "drop" "pa-da-da!" (shared refrain) and straight to the next round.
Zip–Zap–Zup
A warm-up for focus and coordination: pass the impulse with "zip", "zap", "zup" to anyone across the circle — never your neighbor. High pace, no pauses.
Blind Guide
Pairs: one is the "blind" person (eyes closed), the second is the "guide" (leads with gentle touch/voice through the space), then switch. About trust, pace, and safety.
Mind Meld
A warmup for synchrony and association: two players call out words on "three," then on each next "three" both name a word linking the pair. Keep going until both say the…
Whoosh–Honda–Boing
An actor "passes an impulse" with words and eye contact. Whoosh — a regular pass to a chosen person; Honda — a "skip" (skip someone or the whole sector — as agreed); Boi…
